ONCompanion Foundation is a Kolkata based Non-Profit Organization founded by a group of like minded enthusiasts coming from various background like - Cancer Research, Social Welfare, Information Technology -who firmly believes that a Cancer dedicated Social Network can transform lives of Cancer Patients of India.

With the ever-increasing burden of Cancer in Indian & Global context, there is a surging need for a framework of social support for patients and their families. Social networking has the power to buffer stress that Cancer brings into one's life and their family. Research findings indicate that this works best in peer to peer support format -meaning, one patient is supported by someone having similar experience, thereby helping to cope through vital stages of diagnosis and treatment.
